The Burlington Coat Factory is a retailer focused on providing customers with over 450 stores in 45 states that carry mostly clothing and shoes. Originally founded in 1924 as the "Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse Corporation", the store was primarily a retailer of women's coats and outerwear. Now stores include menswear, sportswear, accessory, youth, and shoe departments. Most stores have two specialty departments. "Luxury Linens" sells linen and furniture items, as well as housewares and home decor items.

In 2010 the Burlington Coat Factory Black Friday ad featured discounts and savings on popular jackets, boots, and other clothing. They also had an added bonus of 10% off of the entire purchase on Black Friday. The same deal is expected this holiday season.
